I am committed to providing a first-class
program for your event. Over years of work and thousands of
performances I have discovered how to maximize the audience's enjoyment and experience of my presentation.
I will need:
*Elevated platform-minimum dimensions 12 feet wide by
8 feet deep.
* One wireless
Lavaliere microphone. Wireless handheld microphones should be provided for the audience, along with runners
to hand the microphone to audience members as needed.
Whenever possible, make
the environment casual, like someone's living room. This includes a relaxed atmosphere,
plants, comfortable chairs.
Stage lighting should be slightly brighter than
audience lighting. Audience should not be in the dark.
Rather than slides, I provide a master
hand-out. Please make copies and distribute to attendees, either as
they enter the room or by placing on their chairs before arrival.
If I am doing a book-signing, please have signs up as people
enter the room with an announcement
that includes the time and location. Announce the book signing as part of
my introduction, and remind people at the conclusion of my presentation.
